Interdisciplinary scenic-musical performance that is about TheMilpa,  an ancient agricultural system in Mexico and Mesoamerica. The show features songs, melodies, folk tales, and traditional dances, all inspired by rural activities in Mexico. Three different instrumental endowments are used: Pre-Hispanic Mexican instruments such as the teponaztli and huehuetl, traditional mestizo instruments such as the jarana and the Tamborita; string ensemble for Mexican urban music such as the bolero and the waltz. In this show, musical themes from the homonymous studio album are presented.
